James Prendergast Library presents the 2009 3rd Annual Cummins Run for Literacy

Come and support the James Prendergast Library Literacy Program. Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant is once again sponsoring the Library Literacy Program with a day of running, walking, and fun.

8:00 - 8:45 A.M. Race registration

Registration fee
$17.00

Pre-race packet pick-up
8:00 - 8:45 A.M on the Fifth Street side of the library

Race Course
The race course begins at the library, continues through neighborhood streets, circles through Lake View Cemetery, and returns to the library. The course is level and slightly downhill to the cemetery. Inside the cemetery, the course has hills and some level. Back to the cemetery, the course has a slight incline and level. Strollers and dogs welcome. MAP

Timing is once again provided by Smiley Miles

Parking
Parking: In the library parking lot, on the 6th Street side of the library;
in 5th Street parking ramp, and on side streets.

Race results are posted on Smiley Miles and Buffalo Runners.

Children

The Library's Fireplace Room will open at 8:30 AM for elementary school age children whose parents are
walking/running in the race. Activities will be available for the children. The Library cannot care for children under the age of 5 during the race.
