Mission:  to promote and support the library by engaging in advocacy campaigns on behalf of the library and provide financial assistance for special library materials and activities

 

Vision:    to promote the use of the library by all; to increase awareness of library resources and services; to encourage people to volunteer on behalf of the library

 

Membership:  $10    Adults 14 and up

                               $5      Children

                               $50    Clubs and organizations

                               $100  Businesses

 

Members receive a newsletter, membership sticker for library card, and invitations to library events and receptions.  Members may also help with special projects and are invited to donate to the library in addition to their membership fee.

On April 15, 2008, the Friends honored Library staff with a luncheon to thank them for their dedication and service to the community
