Prendergast Library will offer a combination of computer classes and individual assistance with resumes and technology during June.
Stand-alone classes offered by library staff members include:
Get to Know Your Ancestors from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 10. Learn to use Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest as well as local search tools. Those attending will need an active library card in good standing to participate in class activities. All of the sources discussed are accessible at no charge in the library.
- Introduction to All Things Google from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 22. Learn to make the most of a Google account for personal and professional use. Learn how to use more than email and access files wherever you go. Basic knowledge of computers and the Internet is a prerequisite, and prior use of a Gmail account will be helpful for this course.
Both classes are free and open to the public. One-on-one appointments are available for help with resumes or technology.
