Chautauqua Institution is bringing their Mobile Poetry Makerspace to the library! The Poetry Makerspace will be available on the library’s front lawn on July 10th and August 7th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants will learn how to write their own Emerge poems using blocks of texts (excerpts) from CLSC books provided on the Poetry Makerspace website at While participants will be able to access the website and write their own poems on their mobile devices and desktops, iPads will be provided on site to those willing to participate.

Chautauqua Institution will also bring onsite and grab-and-go activities through Play CHQ! Play CHQ invites families to explore together through games, crafts, and STEM activities.
