Transforming Food Waste with Jamestown Public Market 3/30

Join Jamestown Public Market at the library for “Transforming Food Waste” on Thursday, March 30th from 5-7pm.
In this class we will explore how to utilize parts of fruits and vegetables usually thrown away, from carrot tops to potato skins! We will also touch on ways to reduce food waste, be it in the kitchen or compost.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County’s SNAP-Ed program will be present to offer free cooking demos and samples related to what we will be discussing.
No registration is required for this free event.
This program is part of the 2023 Murray L. Bob Community Education Initiative.
