Volunteer

The library is excited to announce new volunteer opportunities for 2023. We seek community members interested in helping the library with two fundraising events and assisting staff at community outreach events.

We are hosting our second annual  Jim Roselle Community Block Party & Summer Reading Kickoff Event. Held on June 24 this year, this free event is an opportunity for local organizations to connect with the community. The library will run outdoor Makerspace programs, storytimes, lawn games, and crafts. We will also have free books, a plant swap, and music from Infinity Performing Arts students. During the Block Party, interested community members can sign up for the 2023 summer reading program. Volunteers will help with set up, assist with lawn games, and cleanup of the event.

Returning on October 21, is The Haunted Library, a spooky guidHaunted Library Ocober 22, 2022ed tour through the library.  Guests will meet ghosts and characters from books trapped inside the library and listen to their tales. Volunteers help decorate the library, play a character, sell tickets and refreshments, and give tours.

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the form below, and a staff member will contact you. Thank you.
