Adventure Passes

The Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System offers free and reduced price access to local attractions through its Adventure Pass program. 

Passes can be checked out using an adult library card and have a checkout period of 1 week.

Currently, passes are available for:

  • Buffalo Museum of Science
    • FREE FAMILY ADMISSION; max 2 adults and 2 children
  • Buffalo Zoo (Buffalo)
    • Must call ahead to 716-995-6156, pay for tickets prior to arrival, and indicate pass usage
    • FREE YOUTH ADMISSION WITH PAID ADULT; max 2 adults with 2 children
  • Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame (Jamestown)
    • FREE ADMISSION, one per pass
  • Comedy Center AND Lucy Desi Museum (Jamestown)
    • FREE ADMISSION to both venues for up to two people (adult or children)PATRON MUST BRING THEIR LIBRARY CARD TO THE MUSEUM(S).
  • Erie Zoo (Erie, PA)
    • FREE CHILD (12 AND UNDER) WITH PAID ADULT
  • Fenton History Center (Jamestown)
    • FREE ADULT ADMISSION WITH PAID ADULT. Children 17 and under always free with an adult.
  • Griffis Sculpture Park (East Otto, NY)
    • FREE YOUTH ADMISSION (12 AND UNDER) WITH PAID ADULT; max 2 adults with 2 children
  • The Robert H. Jackson Center (Jamestown)
    • Open only by appointment. Contact the Center at 716-483-6646.
    • FREE ADMISSION, admit up to 4
  • Roger Tory Peterson Institute (Jamestown)
    • FREE ADMISSION, admit up to 4
  • Senaca-Iroquois National Museum (Salamanca)
    • FREE ADMISSION, admit up to 4
  • Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site (Buffalo)
    • BUY ONE ADMISSION, GET ONE OF EQUAL OR LESSER VALUE FREE; limit 2 per pass

About the Day Adventure Pass

  • Use of the Day Adventure Pass is intended to serve as an introduction to each destination.
  • The passes are not intended for repeated use by the same individual or family.
  • Library patrons are encouraged to purchase personal memberships to cultural destinations if they are interested in frequent use.

Borrowing rules

  • Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older and a current CCLS library cardholder in good standing.
  • The loan period for the pass is for seven calendar days (no renewal allowed).
  • Patrons must return the pass to the checkout library no later than 11:59 p.m. on the seventh day. The pass must be returned to the outdoor book drop if the library is closed. If the library is open, the pass must be returned to the circulation desk.
  • Patrons must take these passes out on their own library card only.
  • Patrons may check out only one pass at a time.
