Research and Tech Help

Research and Technology Assistance

The Information Desk is staffed during our open hours, Monday-Friday 9am-7pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm. Library staff are happy to provide technology and research assistance, over the phone and in person.

Extensive questions may require an appointment so we can better assist you – the library offers 1-on-1 tech help by appointment.

Paid Research Requests

If you have a research query, our staff can assist you in searching  for the information you need using the library’s print, microform and electronic resources. If you are unable to come into the library, staff can conduct this research. More extensive research queries require payment.

Research Fees:

    • Standard: (nonprofits/individual)
      $25 per hour
    • Commercial: (for-profit organizations)
      $50 per hour

Research sessions are a minimum of one hour. Payment needs to be received prior to staff beginning the search. Additional time after the first hour will be billed after the project is complete. You may request a maximum time to be spent on the project.

In addition to the time spent searching, you will be charged for time required for retrieving items as well as preparing materials to be sent. Refunds are not available if the information requested is not found.
