2022 Murray L. Bob Lecture – Food Insecurity: A Public Health Issue

The 2022 Murray L. Bob Lecture will be held at the library on December 1, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm. This annual lecture honors former director of the Prendergast Library and the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System, Murray L. Bob.

Lisa French, Field and Fork Network Co-Founder and Executive Director, will discuss food insecurity in New York State and the various solutions her organization and others are pursuing to address the issue. Joining Lisa will be Jamestown Public Market Director Linnea Haskin, who will speak briefly on the impact Field and Fork programs, such as Double Up Food Bucks, have had on the Jamestown community.
